Day 0
We are traveling tomorrow to India! We are really excited! =)
After a very long search and texting/emailing many agencies/companies/ hotels/people/websites we came across MP Tiger Safari Company we talked to Mr. Teerath Singh (have a look to his shots and posts!) and finally we decided to go on a Safari with him. We have found many positive reviews about his tours and we are looking forward to our adventure!
Our little backpacks are ready again, we believe everything is in place so now... A good night rest and tomorrow we start! ^^
PS. I hope my tiger nails give us good luck with finding tigers in the jungle!! ♥
Mañana nos vamos a la India! Estamos muy ilusionados! =)
Después de una larga búsqueda encontramos MP TIGER SAFARI COMPANY, hablamos con el señor Teerath Singh y nos decidimos a ir con él. Hemos encontrado muchas opiniones positivas sobre sus tours y tenemos muchas ganas de nuestra aventura!
Las mochilas ya están preparadas otra vez, creemos que todo está en su sitio así que ahora sólo queda una buena noche de descanso y mañana empezamos! ^^
PD. Espero que mis uñas de tigre nos den buena suerte encontrándolos en la jungla!! ♥

Day 1
So... To Madrid by car + flight to London + flight to Mumbai + Flight to Nagpur + More hours in a car (Mr Teerath's driver will pick us up) to Kanha National Park, where we will be actually arriving on Thursday 6th at night...!
As planned, we arrived at the T4 parking lot. I was supposed to meet my friend Manuel, in between his arrival and our departure, but his flight was delayed and it couldn't be... =( Well, I'll go another weekend to visit him! ♥
We arrived in London and immediately boarded our next flight to Mumbai..
Pues... A Madrid en coche + vuelo a Londres + vuelo a Bombay + Vuelo a Nagpur + Más horas en coche (El conductor de Mr Teerath nos recogerá en el aeropuerto de Nagpur) y llegaremos al Parque Nacional de Kanha el jueves por la noche...!
Según lo previsto llegamos al parking de la T4. Se suponía que iba a ver a mi amigo Manuel, cruzándonos entre su llegada y nuestra salida, pero su vuelo salió con retraso y no pudo ser... =( Bueno, ya iré un finde entero a verlo! ♥
Llegamos a Londres y enseguida embarcamos en el siguiente vuelo hacia Bombay.
Thursday 6th April 2017
Day 2
We have arrived in Mumbai! Just getting off the plane you could feel the heat and musty smell! =) Da went through the "visas on passport" queue and I had to wait for ages in the e-visas line... Apparently, a lot of people don't know how to use the fingerprints machine.............. I do, ha! What I don't know how to do is: to print my Visa before going to the country where I need it... Oops!! But I found the email on my phone and they let me in with no problems, more or less...!
The airport is very beautiful! The columns are decorated as if they were huge white trees and we did like it a lot! =) After fighting with the ATMs we went through the security controls to domestic connections and we waited... Our next flight to Nagpur was delayed...
We landed in Nagpur at sunset, Ashok, the driver, was waiting for us, we started the journey at 6.15 pm and we finally arrived at 11.15 to Courtyard House! The staff was waiting to greet us, we left the backpacks in the room (which was great) and went to eat something: the food was really tasty! =)
Hemos llegado a Bombay! Al bajar del avión ya se sentía el calor y olor a humedad! =) Da fue por la cola de visados en el pasaporte y yo tuve que esperar años en la cola de las e-visas... Al parecer mucha gente no sabe cómo poner los dedos para tomar una huella dactilar............... Yo sí, ja! Lo que no sé hacer yo es: Imprimir el visado antes de ir al país donde lo necesito... Ups! Al menos encontré el email en el teléfono y me dejaron entrar!
El aeropuerto es superbonito! Los pilares de la estructura están decorados como si fueran árboles blancos gigantes y nos gustó mucho! =) Después de pelear un poco con los cajeros pasamos los controles para las conexiones nacionales y esperamos... Nuestro siguiente vuelo a Nagpur estaba retrasado...
Aterrizamos en Nagpur junto al atardecer, Ashok nos estaba esperando, subimos al coche sobre las 6.15 pm y a las 11.15 por fin llegamos a Courtyard House! El staff nos esperaba para darnos la bienvenida, dejamos las mochilas en la habitaicón (que estaba genial) y bajamos a cenar algo: la comida estaba muy buena! =)
Finally off to bed in the middle of the jungle... Happiness!
Por fin a dormir en medio de la jungla... Qué felicidad!
Friday 7th April 2017
Day 3
Despertamos "tarde", bajamos a desayunar a las 9 en un porche precioso. Nos entretenemos viendo el hotel, la piscina y su biblioteca... Es una mañana tranquila y relajada, comemos, de nuevo la comida sabrosísima, y nos tumbamos en el columpio del porche a leer "Tigers of India" de Valmik Thapar...
A las 3 pm nos recogen para ir a Khatia Gate (en Mocha Road), desde allí entran todos los jeeps a las zonas que les hayan sido asignadas, abren la puerta a las 4pm.
A nosotros nos dijeron que nos tocó Kanha (supestamente la que más avistamientos de tigres tiene), pero atravesamos una puerta que decía "Kisli" así que estamos un poco confusos... Jaja
Qué preciosdiad de sitio, Kanha National Park... La primera tarde fue un éxito: Vimos 3 "cachorros" de tigre intentando cazar, sin mucho éxito a un bebé gaur con una madre muy protectora! Al atardecer tuvimos que irnos... Qué montón de sensaciones tan agradables da siempre la naturaleza!
